SOAP-Ready for Something New

Isaiah 43:19 New Living Translation (NLT)

19 For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

I love how God is still in the business of doing something new!  He’s never going to stay in the “old”, nor does He let us stay there either. Sometimes we can feel stuck. Stuck in a rut, unable to move forward, praying the same prayers morning after morning, pleading the same pleas, asking God for a miracle, or maybe just some movement forward.

But listen to this truth right now:  “I am about to do something NEW.  See, I have ALREADY BEGUN!  Do you not see it?”  God is telling you, “I’ve heard your prayers, I’ve been listening.  I’m not asleep.  I’m not oblivious.  I’m not ignoring you.  You’ve been asking for relief, for improvement, for help.  I’m about to do something NEW!  I’m not going to just clean up the old thing, no.  I’m doing a new thing, and I’ve already started!  Come look.  Come join me. Let’s go!”

So, as you keep praying those prayers, morning and morning, sowing those seeds of faithfulness, add this promise to it. Agree with Him in it, thank Him for it, stand on it, and praise Him for Who He Is!  He is the God who does something new!
