BELIEFS:

• Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.  (John 3:16; 14:6)

• The Scriptures are inspired and are without error.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 5:18)

• There is One True God, eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful, and completely good.  He exists as the Trinity, in three persons, yet as One God:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:18)

 

In addition to the above foundational beliefs, we hold to the following fundamentals:

• The virgin birth, sinless life, death and resurrection of Christ confirm His deity.

• Water baptism by immersion and holy communion are acts of obedience for the believer.

• The Holy Spirit is a promise from God to live inside all who believe in Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit teaches, comforts, and empowers us with diverse gifts, promoting unity, love, productivity, and Christ-like character.

• The Church’s responsibility is evangelism, worship and discipleship, which is incorporated into our core values.

• Because Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again, we have the provisions of salvation, healing, deliverance, and the confidence that He is coming again.
